South Florida Boxing Gym Frequently Asked Questions:

What’s included with a membership?

Everything! All classes and full use of the gym and all 3 locations.

What’s the difference between Aero/Tech and Boxing?
Aero/Tech is more rhythmic and non-stop and the boxing is broken into rounds (3 minute rounds-1 minute rest, like a boxing fight). Either way though they are all awesome and intense and full-bodied workouts which all put you through the training of a fighter.

How long are the classes?
They are all a hour long-full-bodied workouts.

What’s the difference between the boxing and the kickboxing classes?
Kickboxing- you kick the heavy bags.  They are both full-bodied workouts.  The reason there’s weight classes in gighting is because you learn to put your whole body weight behind everything you do (your punch and/or kicks). When a boxer can’t box anymore it’s because they “lost their legs”. We recommend trying boxing 1st.

I really want to workout my legs and lower body. Is kickboxing the better workout for me?
They are both full-bodied workouts.  They are all always different (never the same) and they are put ting you through the TRAINING OF A FIGHTER.  When a boxer can’t fight anymore, it’s because they “lost their legs”.

Do you offer Amateur training?
Yes!  N.M.B. and Pines have it everyday.

What equipment do I need?
The 1st time you try the class (just call to sigh-up and come 20 minutes early and make sure to bring you local FL ID otherwise it’s not free) We loan you everything. When you sign-up you need to purchase gloves (all leather $45)

Wraps (protection under gloves $10) and jump rope ($10). You can purchase everything here.
